Pitch Invasion
Denver’s Pitch Invasion is as old-school as it gets. The act—fronted by local veteran rocker Jim Yelenick, and including members from skate-punk act Frontside Five—is an ’80s hardcore band with a ’90s pop-punk attitude. Fast riffs, melodic breaks, hardline beats, SoCal energy, and East Coast aggression—it’s all there, like Bad Brains meets Bad Religion. A new album, Live To Regret, is in the works and is slated for an early spring release.
