Prince
Over the last decade, the biggest waves made by Prince have been more tabloid than musical. (Stories include his becoming a Jehovah’s Witness and declaring the Internet “over”.) But truth is, he’s still one of the best live guitarists on the planet. Not that he plays out often enough for people to know it: In recent years, his performances have been limited to a Las Vegas residency, a run of shows at London’s O2 Arena, a few NYC appearances, and now a Canadian tour.
