Public Enemy
It’s been a long time since Public Enemy rated as anywhere close to what the name implies. (Although, come to think of it, Flavor Flav’s past few years have been harmful for pretty much everybody and everything.) And it's true the group's performances in recent years have been underwhelming. But with Public Enemy now touring behind the 20th anniversary of the landmark Fear Of A Black Planet, some reviews say the group has rediscovered its fire in those old songs. Maybe it will carry over to its upcoming album, which is being funded through fan donations—currently, Public Enemy has raised about 80 percent of its $75,000 budget.
