Artist Q Brothers

GQ and JQ, two siblings brought together under the moniker Q Brothers, spend more time apart than together.  GQ, cultivating a fledgling film career, has appeared in such instant “classics” as What’s The Worst That Could Happen?, Drumline, and On The Line, while younger brother JQ fronts Chicago rock band Them Vs. Them.  The brothers recently joined forces to release The Feel Good Album Of The Year, which sports a refreshingly upbeat blend of hip-hop with elements of rock, jazz, electronica, and R&B. GQ’s voice is too pleasant to conjure any real menace, but the combination of his smooth flow and JQ’s sunny, old-school beats fulfills some of the promise of the album’s title.
