The broad smile that often tilts its way across Rachel Feinstein’s face is a big part of why her abundant bits on dating (“I was seeing a Puerto Rican guy for a while, 'cause I don’t learn”) are pulled off with finesse rather than coming across as tacky. That said, some of the better bits on her recent Comedy Central Presents special happen when she, uh, brings her family into the action. In one bit, she imagines her mother standing by and critiquing her dirty talk during sex: “Really, Rachel? ‘Screw me harder’? Is that what the girls say at school?” In a more bizarrely clever turn of phrase, Feinstein describes how her mom’s choice of Native American jewelry creates a “Navajo graveyard [covering] her entire left breast.”
