Road House

The late Patrick Swayze was the hunky philosopher of the tough-guy set, and he never got a better vehicle than the supremely silly and vulgar Road House. Diving into a heretofore-unknown bouncer subculture, the film stars Swayze as the country’s best “cooler,” a highly paid bouncer supervisor known for cleaning up shit-kicking slaughterhouse bars. His latest assignment puts him in the redneck town of Jasper, Missouri, where he soon butts heads with local rich thug Ben Gazzara.
