The joke about Rob Schneider is that after leaving Saturday Night Live, he’s only been able to get work from Adam Sandler in whatever movie Happy Madison Pictures is cranking out. 2008’s You Don’t Mess With The Zohan and this year’s Grown Ups do little to debunk that, but even Schneider’s most ardent detractors would have to admit the comedian is nothing if not consistent. Schneider viciously stands up for his work, and has a habit of taking out full-page ads staunchly defending his movies when they’ve received, well, unfavorable reviews in publications he reads. As a digital short on his site—portraying a soon-to-be-shipped-off marine sweet-talking his lover into having anal sex—suggests, though, there’s a reason Schneider gravitates toward playing man-children.
