Robin Williams

Robin Williams

It’s tough to name a comedian-actor more polarizing than Robin Williams, whose frenetic, impossibly silly antics delight many but repulse a vocal group of naysayers. Regardless, the haters should respect the man's ability to remain in the comedy lexicon for decades while retaining his voice, not to mention his highly regarded dramatic roles (Good Will Hunting and the recent World's Greatest Dadwhich finds him thankfully restrained). That still doesn’t excuse excruciating performances like his epic two-hour appearance on Inside The Actors Studio, wherein Williams riffed on the endless comedic possibilities of a hand towel as a prop.
