Where would the world be without the guiltiest pleasure of all: Swedish pop? Following in the footsteps of ABBA on down to Ace Of Base, Stockholm songstress Robyn continues her nation’s proud tradition of exporting easily digestible hooks. Her first splash stateside was back in 1997 with the teen-pop single “Show Me Love,” but her star rose again in Europe, where “Konichiwa Bitches” was a dance-floor smash. She stalled for a bit, repackaging her 2005 self-titled album three years later for the States, but the wait since then proved well worth it: Last year’s Body Talk combined three stellar mini-albums to form a front-runner for the best dance-pop album of 2010.
