Artist Rock Star Gomeroke

Rarely does a week go by without The GomersEasily one of the hardest-working bands in Madison, lending its talents to backing wannabe singers for Rock Star Gomeroke (and its kids’ version, Kid’Oke). Because of that dedication to making people feel like rock stars, Gomeroke has hit a milestone with its 8th anniversary in 2012. Lots of regulars and first-timers show up and show off their pipes with help from a finely tuned human karaoke machine with an amazingly expansive song list that covers everything from Negativland to Led Zeppelin to Mozart—and that’s just for the songs that start with “A.”
