Roger Waters

After founding bassist, singer, and songwriter Roger Waters left Pink Floyd in 1985, he sued the remaining members to prevent them from touring as Pink Floyd. He lost, but continued to feud with his former bandmates, particularly guitarist David Gilmour, while enjoying some success as a solo artist. Of course, he owed much of that to Pink Floyd’s legacy, which he frequently revisits during solo performances. He gave Dark Side Of The Moon the big time tour treatment in 2006, complete with lasers, flame throwers, and giant inflatable floating pigs. This time, Waters is bringing his naval-gazing concept-rock classic The Wall back to stadiums, for all you rock star-loving puppets out there. Just don’t look for Gilmour to shred that solo to “Comfortably Numb.”
