It’s good to see an artist like Rosie Thomas—who marches to the beat of her own drum—brave the storms of mediocrity to have a decade-long career. She hasn’t hit the top of the charts, and though her audience may be limited, her songs are sweet and heartfelt enough to always have a loyal group of listeners continuing to tune in, just as long as she maintains her perspective. Her latest album, With Love, comes after a four-year hiatus during which she got married and toured with artists like Iron And Wine and Sufjan Stevens, so she should have a lot to say.
