Royce Da 5'9"

Ryan Daniel Montgomery, better known as Royce da 5’9”, is probably best known for his widely publicized feud with fellow Detroit rappers D12. A series of diss tracks with titles like “Shit On You” and “Smack Down” passed between Royce and D12 in the mid-2000s. They eventually settled their beef and, in the grad tradition of hip-hop beef settling, went on tour together. Royce’s latest,Success Is Certain (released in summer of 2011), saw him taming himself somewhat, and channeling his frequently overflowing rage onto the record. He’s currently planning a record with Eminem, but until then, it’s a good time to see a solo, beef-free Royce.
