Artist Scorpions

Scorpions’ mixture of arena-rock anthems (“Rock You Like A Hurricane”) and raise-your-lighter ballads (“Winds Of Change”) has sustained the band  for more than 30 years and 20 albums. In spite of that trend-bucking longevity, the German heavy-metal heroes announced in early 2010 that their current world tour—in support of this year's Sting In The Tail—would be their last. Scorpions won't go gentle into that good night, and Sting In The Tail is as much a farewell as the sound of the band raging against the dying of the light with fist-pumping choruses and metal-edged strut.
