Artist Sera Cahoone

Band Of Horses is the biggest group to spring from the ashes of Carissa’s Wierd, but it’s also produced worthy new projects in Grand Archives and the solo work of drummer Sera Cahoone. She leans toward the hushed and folky on her two Sub Pop albums, including last year’s Only As The Day Is Long, which is long on the mournful, twangy vibe of Magnolia Electric Co.
