Bay Area band Set Your Goals plays lightning-fast melodic hardcore derived from vets like Gorilla Biscuits, as well as the earnest strains of Rise Against and the infectious velocity of early New Found Glory and Saves The Day. Don’t let the occasional meaty breakdowns and grunting screams fool you—Set Your Goals is more of a pop-punk band than anything else, so it makes sense that it moved to Epitath to release its sophomore album, This Will Be The Death Of Us, as well as Burning At Both Ends, its follow-up that dropped in summer 2011.
