Skid Row
Skid Row was born out of the era of large hair and tight pants when pop-metal bands like Mötley Crüeand Bon Jovi ruled the airwaves. Despite the band’s relatively late entrance into the scene, Skid Row’s biography follows the Spinal Tap-esque arc typical of hair-metal bands. After a Platinum-selling self-titled debut in 1989, Skid Row was rendered virtually irrelevant with the rise of grunge music by the time its third album was released in 1995. A series of recent tours has given the band’s unfailing followers a way to relive Skid Row’s days as “Youth Gone Wild.” However, the band will be without original front man Sebastian Bach, who was kicked out of the band after an argument concerning opening for KISS in 1996.
