Slick Rick

Slick Rick will probably never top the rollicking storytelling of 1988’s The Adventures Of Slick Rick, but that’s just fine—more than 20 years later, stunners like “Lick The Balls” and “Treat Her Like A Prostitute” still carry the irreverent, taunting braggadocio that brought Slick Rick to the limelight. His tendency to combine the cartoonish and the graphic inspired whole platoons of rappers, for better and for worse, to follow in his taboo-trouncing footsteps.
