Artist Sloppy Seconds

Proudly fat, drunk, and stupid Indianapolis punks Sloppy Seconds have been plying their Ramones-influenced rave-ups about horror movies, chicks, and beer for more than two decades, but the passing of time doesn’t seem to have affected their arrested development any. The group returned last year from a nearly decade-long hiatus with its fifth studio album, Endless Bummer, and judging by song titles like “Kegs R4 Kids,” “Thanks For The Mammaries,” and “High School Girlz,” the band is still down to get wasted with its legion of similarly smart-assed hedonists—and with the hooky ode “You Can’t Kill Joey Ramone,” it makes its best argument yet for the timelessness of power chords and party anthems.
