Small Brown Bike

Small Brown Bike

Post-hardcore band Small Brown Bike never really fit into one punk subgenre enough to be successful: It was too melodic to be hardcore and too heavy to be emo, and after eight years busting its ass, the band called it quits in 2004. As is the style these days, the Michigan group reunited in 2007 for a series of benefits, but made the reunion permanent in 2009. Still, Small Brown Bike is easing back into the swing of things: After releasing a 7-inch titled Composite, Volume One, the band went back into the studio with Jawbox’s J. Robbins and recorded the band’s first full-length in eight years, Fell & Found, just out on No Idea Records.
