After shooting to near-ubiquitous fame in the Denver area in just under two years, Snake Rattle Rattle Snake released its debut full-length record,Sin Eater, in 2011. Filled with dark undertones and weird lyricism, the first full-length from Snake Rattle still manages to make you want to move with danceable rhythms and catchy choruses, especially on songs like the first single, “Break The Same.” If the band can continue to build on the achievements of Sin Eater, then 2012 could be the year the band’s dark, sinuous sound makes waves outside of Colorado.
