Solar Bear
For all its kicks and screams, Solar Bear is as elegantly complex as it is rowdy. The post-hardcore act embodies a lot of the genre’s early era luminaries, positioning itself as a smart, noisy rock band not afraid of the occasional chugging breakdown. Its live shows are just as frenzied, loaded with whiplashed singing and earsplitting guitar work. Last year, the Denver group self-released the promising Modern Architects EP, followed up in May with the Captains Of Industry.
