Song Of Zarathustra

Defunct Iowa hardcore band Song Of Zarathustra found a second life when its members reformed in Minneapolis in 2000. The transplants quickly made a name for themselves within the scene playing fast, screeching hardcore alternately backed by a drum machine and a live drummer. Following several lineup changes, two full-lengths (one featuring Lifter Puller/ The Hold Steady guitarist Tad Kubler), and a tour schedule that included a run through Europe, the band called it a night in 2003.
