Steep Canyon Rangers

For whatever reason, bluegrass has caught the ears of many big-screen comedians. From Christopher Guest to Steve Martin, the genre has been hoisted to the mainstream not by starving musicians, but by funny men. The Steep Canyon Rangers have garnered attention by bringing banjo-pickin’ comedian Steve Martin on tour with them, and he wrote their hit “Me And Paul Revere,” which chronicles the horse of Paul Revere.
