Stephen Merchant

Stephen Merchant found success in the two most quantifiable formats of comedy—onscreen, with highly influential sitcom The Office and the fitfully funny follow-up Extras, and on the radio with The Ricky Gervais Show, certifiably the most downloaded podcast of all time—so his return to stand-up clearly comes with high expectations. He’s done short tours of England, and a few shows in the U.S., but all of that was captured on a DVD, Stephen Merchant Live: Hello Ladies. He’s performing that material live, which promises to be even better when you can watch Merchant’s 6’7” body contort and jerk around in person.
