Artist Strung Out

One of Fat Wreck Chords’ first bands, Strung Out has evolved musically during the past decade, at least compared to other bands that play the notoriously formulaic SoCal punk sound. The group began with 1994’s Another Day In Paradise, a typical Fat Wreck-style melodic punk album full of furious tempos and guitar theatrics. As time passed, Strung Out incorporated more hardcore elements, but never abandoned the big hooks that characterize SoCal punk. The trend continued on its latest, Agents Of The Underground, released earlier this year.
