Sublime With Rome
Sublime's surviving members had to know there would be some wincing backlash when they decided, 13 years after the death of Bradley Nowell, to reunite under their old band's name for some performances. Surprisingly, the fans rallied (for the most part), while only Nowell's estate objected repeatedly. Although the estate's case against them was dismissed earlier this year, Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh—along with new frontman Rome Ramirez—have decided to reform under the no-nonsense moniker Sublime With Rome. While obviously this might make some stomachs turn, the California weed-ska band is back without one of its crucial members, writing new songs and not completely ruling out recording new material together.
