Artist Swear Jar

The Annoyance Theatre has a reputation for being gleefully foulmouthed and aggressively experimental, especially compared to other comedy theaters in town, like iO and Second City. That notoriety has largely been built by founder Mick Napier, the man responsible for Annoyance shows like the musical Co-Ed Prison Sluts and a gaggle of plays, and while he's famously directed sketch shows for Second City (including its most recent revue for that theater's 50th anniversary), he's somehow not directed a sketch show for his own theater in all its 22 years—until now. The appropriately titled Swear Jar boasts a familiar cast including Colleen Murray, Brian Wilson, and a handful of others, and while not much is known about Swear Jar's subject matter, it will most definitely be worth checking out.
