Teenage Bottlerocket

Teenage Bottlerocket claims that because it’s from Wyoming, it doesn’t “pander to the trends,” which means the band chose to play “top-notch Ramones-core.” But since when do people hate the Ramones and punk rock? The leather-jacketed quartet played tight, almost nauseatingly catchy punk on 2008’s Warning Device and 2009's They Came From The Shadows. Tracks such as “Skate Or Die” and “Do What?” don’t show much in the way of musical development, but is anyone really looking for creativity from by-the-numbers bands such as this?
