That's So '90s Trivia Night

“What Are You Looking At?” is the question asked in the name of W.A.Y.L.A., an East End gay bar at the corner of Queen and Carlaw. In a schedule of dance nights and karaoke, W.A.Y.L.A. also hosts a weekly ’90s trivia night every Wednesday, where “What are you looking at?” will probably not be one of the questions asked of its patrons. More likely, contestants will have their memories picked for information about early Britney Spears singles, Sony Walkmans, Jurassic Park, RuPaul, Teletubbies, Monica Lewinsky, and maybe—if they’re lucky—Police Academy: The Series. So we guess that if you’re part of the queer community, and you have fierce nostalgia for ’90s pop-culture ephemera, there isn’t any place better than W.A.Y.L.A on a Wednesday night.
