The Alarmists
Formed in 2001, there’s nothing particularly alarming about Minneapolis rock ’n’ roll stalwarts The Alarmists. With more than a decade in the trenches and three LPs under its belt, the five-piece isn’t going to catch anyone off guard. But that’s not really the point, as years of gigging have solidified a sizeable fan base and plenty of clout. Fans of fallback rock influences (The Beatles, Tom Petty, Spoon) already know they love The Alarmists, a band headed down the path of fellow Twin Cities career rockers like the Honeydogs.
