The surviving members of Sublime have returned to the road to Brad Nowell's give corpse one last flogging, but they needn't have bothered: A whole generation of brah-bands like Los Angeles' The B Foundation has 40 Oz. To Freedom's bleary-eyed aesthetic down pat. The band is yet to pen its "What I Got," but 2009's Souvenirs, Novelties, And Party Tricks added a pronounced hip-hop influence and social consciousness to the Foundation's skank-ready off-beats and lead singer Patrick Stevenson's resin-caked rasp.
