The B-52s
Legends from back in a day when art-rock went wild and swung for the fences, The B-52s came up in Athens, Georgia, moved to New York, and thereafter commenced living on a planet much cooler and campier than Earth. Sixteen years passed between 1992's Good Stuff and 2008's Funplex, but despite the slowed creative output, The B-52s songbook has never hurt for hits. Live, expect to hear slick late-'80s smashes like "Love Shack" and "Roam" mixed with surf-inspired new-wave classics "Rock Lobster" and "My Own Private Idaho."
