Artist The Barrettes

All-girl punk band The Barrettes can kick anybody’s ass onstage and off—band members also play with the Brewcity Bruisers roller derby team. Musically, The Barrettes' meat-and-potatoes pop-punk attack was livened up on 2009’s A Whole Lotta Melodica with varied instrumentation that includes French horn, cello, mandolin, and, well, melodica. But at their core, The Barrettes are still self-effacing rockers who don't take themselves too seriously.
