The Big Pink
Lauded by critics and signed by the legendary British label 4AD, The Big Pink is made up of two multi-instrumentalists (Milo Cordell and Robbie Furze) with impressive backgrounds. Cordell operates his own label and puts out releases by other buzz bands such as Crystal Castles and Klaxons, and Furze played guitar with Alec Empire before teaming up with Cordell. Following a three-year lapse since their acclaimed debut, 2009’s A Brief History Of Love, The Big Pink returns with a renewed vigor on the new follow-up Future This. Full of jubilant electro-rock anthems, the album’s an easy listen, a contemporary pop record with all the right elements in just the right places.
