The Chariot

Atlanta’s The Chariot is a messy combo of blistering shards of guitar, buzzing bass lines, scattershot drumming, and the frantic growls of vocalist Josh Scogin, giving the band a sound that turns its peers into a game of battle-axe whack-a-mole. That sound has been honed over the course of four albums—2010’s Long Live is the latest—and heavy touring. Yeah, they’re pretty much a Christian band, but that never stopped people from listening to Roadside Monument or Pedro The Lion, did it?
