A.V. Club: Best of the Decade

Artist The Dandy Warhols

  • Dandy Warhols

The Dandy Warhols have been silently bubbling up in the mainstream consciousness for over a decade, though for many, it was 1997’s “Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth” off …The Dandy Warhols Come Down and 2000’s infectious “Bohemian Like You” from Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia that turned heads. The Portland quartet has surprised many with its longevity, though it has yet to settle firmly on a sound—and to crank out another radio-friendly pop nugget. Its latest, The Dandy Warhols Are Sound, comprises alternate mixes of the songs from 2003's Welcome To The Monkey House.
