Artist The Dark Mirror
Robert Siodmak's 1946 thriller The Dark Mirror centers on a premise that can't help but be devilishly twisted. Olivia de Havilland plays a pair of twins, one of whom has been accused of a murder. But investigators can't tell for sure which twin is which, so they call in the experts in the form of psychologist Lew Ayres and detective Thomas Mitchell. Of course, Havilland (the Havillands?) doesn't make the process it easy on them, since one twin's so good at pretending to be her sister.
