Artist The Ettes

If Nancy Sinatra had fronted The Go-Gos, the resulting band might sound a bit like The Ettes, a trio based out of Nashville (by way of L.A.) with an equal interest in retro-sultry pop vocals, garage-rock drums, and new-wave guitars, energized with a dose of old-school punk. The band made a significant splash with its debut, Shake The Dust,followed by 2008’s Look At Life Again Soon. 2009’s Do You Want Power is rolling and thunderous, a well-polished and maturing third release, while their fourth, Wicked Will, was released August 2.
