Artist The Farewell Circuit

It’s easy to be weary of an indie-pop band touting influences as oft-cited as those of local group The Farewell Circuit. Among them are Radiohead, the National, and Death Cab For Cutie. Apparently these dudes are privy to underground rags like Spinand Rolling Stone. But that’s a cheap shot; the bands the group is drawing on don’t suck, and neither does The Farewell Circuit. Laidback and dreamy, the quintet is made up of fine musicians who pay respectable homage to acts like David Bazan and the Album Leaf. Tonight the group is celebrating the release of its new LP, In Our Bones.
