The For Carnation

The For Carnation is a post-rock band with some pretty serious post-rock lineage. The enterprise started as a sort of cracked outlet for Brian McMahan, who had played in Slint and Squirrel Bait, and it went on to put out two albums on Matador and Touch And Go. The second of those came out in 2000, but The For Carnation is back in action, thanks in part to a gig at All Tomorrow's Parties in England.
