Artist The No And Maybe Game

To anyone unfamiliar with The No And Maybe Game’s music (especially its live show), being crammed into a relatively small performance space with the band could prove scary at first. But there’s no need to be nervous anymore, no matter how spastic and frenetic the group gots while buzzsawing across its hyper mish-mash of punk and funk, because sadly be the band played its last show in August 2011. While 2009’s Survival Evasion And Escape doesn’t quite translate the energy of the live set, it captures the jittery guitar work, bouncing bass lines, and howling vocals of TNAMG’s spiky blasts of Dead Kennedys spite and Devo weirdness.
