The Pogues

The Pogues reunited—to much anticipatory fervor—in 2001, and have pretty much been on an extended “reunion tour” since then. But the last decade has been good to Shane MacGowan and company: The band continues to sell out arena shows and its anthem-heavy, ’70s punk-inflected Irish rock remains highly influential, despite the act’s stance against writing or recording any new material. (The Pogues’ last release was 1996’s Pogue Mahone.)
