Artist The Suburbs

The Suburbs were founded in 1977 by four friends from, true to their name, the suburbs west of the Twin Cities. The band’s catchy fusion of New Wave pop, punk, funk, and dance music combines the suavity of Roxy Music, the manic energy of Iggy Pop, and the offbeat humor of Devo. Today, the band continues to play occasionally, despite the 2009 death of guitarist Bruce Allen.
