The Von Bondies

Detroit garage-rockers The Von Bondies have been in the wilderness after breaking up with Sire Records, which released their 2004 major-label debut, Pawn Shoppe Heart, and its hit single, “C’mon C’mon.” A couple of lineup changes later, frontman Jason Stollsteimer has plans to make 2009 The Von Bondies’ comeback year with the release of Love, Hate, And Then There’s You. The first single, “Pale Bride,” shows that Stollsteimer’s love of glossy-yet-gritty guitar rock continues unabated.
