With a guest spot on The Hills as a shiny accessory of Audrina Patridge’s fake job at Epic Records, The White Tie Affair latched on to the cult of teenager and never looked back. Touring with similar mall hair bands like Metro Station, The Medic Droid, and Kill Hannah, TWTA also managed to jump on a leg of the 2008 True Colors Tour with Cyndi Lauper and B-52s, further deepening the young band’s pop-culture exposure. The group’s dance-y tales of ice-melting love provide the perfect platform for lead singer Chris Wallace’s Panic At The Disco-ish sexy breaths, which are all vocoder and zero sincerity.
