Artist Tortured Soul
New York-based “live house” act Tortured Soul made its name by having its organic grooves remixed by the likes of DJ Spinna, but the trio’s hook is its live instrumentation; the group plays its Jamiroquai-esque dance music with actual instruments, something seldom seen within the turntable-happy genre.
