TV Ghost

If you’ve been wondering why psychics have been shrieking in their sleep with visions of black-toothed ghouls and ancient runes written in flames, blame Indiana scuzz-punk band TV Ghost. The group’s second album, Mass Dream (released earlier this year from In The Red Records), is just as eerie as its first release, Cold Fish, though it’s a bit more clear and accessible. The band’s live shows are just as bombastic, demonstrating just what would happen if The Monks were possessed by drunken spirits and their amplifiers were Cronenberg-esque techno-organic hybrids suffering from internal bleeding. Luckily, TV Ghost’s out-of-control stage antics have reaped the band a crop of new fans across Europe and America.
