Artist Twista

Named for the category of a hurricane or tornado in which “automobiles fly through the air like missiles ... and a whole lot of fucked-up shit will occur,” Chicago rapper Twista’s 2009 album, Category F5, builds on the speedy staccato rhymes that have been the rapper’s signature since the mid-’90s. The rapid-chop delivery permeates the part-thuggish, part-fun recent album, The Perfect Storm, too, like on the paper towel-tube percussion slow jam “Make A Movie,” featuring Chris Brown.
