Fans of The Album Leaf, M83, and bands with names that are incredibly frustrating to search using Google should be familiar with Tycho by now. The band that ranges from the trippy and the ambient to the vaguely danceable electro has gained quite the following in the last year, quickly picking up steam by boasting a little something for everybody. Tycho can make art-school kids and rave fans come together in one big, somewhat-repetitive dance party. In fact, the band’s newest album, Dive, has garnered buzz to the point that it is actually out of stock on Amazon.com. We didn’t even know that was possible.
